Investigator progress! :)

It’s been a good week here in Lompoc. A lot of good things have been happening. Scott continues to improve a bunch each day. This last week he got through ten chapters of the Book of Mormon on his own, and he ordered a CTR poster for his room. We’ll be giving him a picture of Christ to hang up this week. Terry hasn’t come to church in the last two weeks and is still having things she needs to sort out but she should go back to progressing soon. This week it was exciting to see Chris and Cellia at Church on Sunday. We taught them two lessons so far and today is the big day to see if they want to continue the lessons. Hopefully they had a good experience this last Sunday. I was nervous with how loud some of the children were this week during Sacrament, but then the sweet spirit of the Primary Program was great. Scott, Chris and Cellia all participated very well in the lesson that I taught in Gospel Principles. It was on the Church of Christ in former times and it went great. When I said we were out of time they said, “keep going”. I hope they come for it next week. A lot of other great things are happening in this area. I wish I had time to type them all up!

I am so grateful to be serving in this great mission. Lompoc has been great so far and I’m picking up things fairly fast. I know this is where the Lord wants me to be.

  1. Going great Elder. Sounds like you are keeping busy and then some. Hope you are enjoying Lompoc. A bit different inland, but California has ‘many faces’. Hang in there…..your missed here but know you are doing what you want to be doing. You will be blessed for your experiences.

    Be safe – be righteous.

Love you, Aunt Donna and Uncle Roger
